Welcome to Alston Model Railway Centre. We can be found next to the South Tynedale Railway in Alston, Cumbria. We have 5 permanent model railway Our popular shop has a wide selection of new and second-hand model railway items. Locos, rolling stock, scenic accessories, tools, paints We are happy to give advise and assistance wherever possible. We usually stock a few trainsets, and can make baseboards and layouts as required.

You can ride on the South Tynedale Railway (Narrow Gauge), see the steam engines close up and have a beautiful scenic trip along the South Tyne valley. Refreshments are available at the station also.
