Both bars serve the best of real ales as well as wines, spirits and lagers.Take one of our packed lunches with you when you walk the Pennine Way , cycle the C2C route, or explore the North Pennines. The River South Tyne, just to the rear of the Cumberland, offers good fishing for Salmon, Sea Trout and Wild Brown Trout. You are virtually guaranteed the river to your self! Alston Moor boasts the highest golf course in Britain. Nine holes on quite a slope - give it a try if you dare. Or hire a bike and use The Cumberland as a base for your cycling holiday. |
