The Haweswater Hotel on the Eastern shore of Haweswater Reservoir in a secluded corner of Cumbria's Lake District far from the crowds.

'Turn off at Shap and step off the world' might be an appropriate invitation to the visitor to the Haweswater Hotel. Few spots in the English Lake District offer at once the combination of quiet and seclusion with comfortable surroundings and the highest standard of cuisine.
Haweswater offers the visitor and guest the opportunity of enjoying the pure lakeland air, exploring the less frequented mountains and moorland which trim the outlying portion of the northern pennines and visiting the old towns of Kendal, Kirkby Stephen, Appleby and Penrith. The hotel was built in 1937 and its public rooms have recently been modernised. There are sixteen centrally heated guest bedrooms with hot and cold water, some are en suite and most of them have a magnificent view of the lake and surrounding countryside. Three of the rooms have balconies. You can enjoy the same views from the comfortable lounge, the terrace, the dining room or have a drink in the Bar in sight of the beautiful scenery. The hotel has ample garaging and parking facilities. CONFERENCE FACILITIES BOOKING
